What kind of weddings do you shoot?
We shoot everything from your Traditional Church wedding to Afro Caribbean, Asian, Civil Partnership, Oriental and Jewish to name a few. Whatever faith you are and however you celebrate the love will go that extra mile to capture it. After all we are passionate about weddings! Fantastic! To officially hold your date a non-refundable booking fee of £400 is required, with the balance a month before the wedding.
How far in advance of the wedding do we need to book?
Certain dates are more popular than others and it's always a good idea to book as early as possible. We take bookings up to 3 years in advance but it's not unheard of to take a booking a couple of weeks before a wedding..
When is our remaining balance due?
1 month before the wedding day.
How can we pay?
Most couples pay by bank transfer but we also accept cheques, PayPal and cash. You can pay your deposit by Credit Card on the website, visit our "Payments" page.
Do you shoot colour or black and white?
Each wedding is different and each photographer will approach things in a different way. Its not really a question of whether it's colour or B&W, but more what is right for the event and each individual photograph. Each wedding's photographs will be edited individually to give its own style and to capture the beautiful day. If you have an idea about what you like or are passionate about, then please communicate your ideas to the photographer. It's much more fun to work together, and remember we are here for you, it's your wedding day..
Do You Offer Packages?

Who will photograph my wedding?
Alex will always be the one photographing your wedding. Sometimes an extra photographer is required and we can provide this.
What happens after my wedding?
Normally most couples go on a honeymoon. This gives us the time to carefully edit your photos. Then when you are back, normally 2-4 weeks after the wedding, you can view your photographs in one of three ways.

1: Online from the comfort of your own home, via a secure password protected web page.
2: We can visit you (location permitting) and talk through your photographs with you.
3: You can come visit us and view and discuss your images.

Note: No photographs with be visible to your friends and family until you are completely satisfied with them..
Do You Shoot In Digital?
We shoot using the latest professional digital equipment. It gives us high versatility and quality! Remember though a camera is just a tool, it's the photographers skill and professionalism that will achieve great photographs..
Do you do shoot group photographs?
Yes we work with you to give you exactly what you want. Alex's style is reportage which means we take very natural photos but this doesn't stop us arranging the odd posed shot during the day. This only has to take 15 minutes so that you can get back to enjoying the day..
Can we keep our digital negatives/files?
Yes all our packages come with a disc with all the images on them as full resolution jpeg files with no watermarks. We still own the copyright so they are for personal use and not to be sold on..
How many photographers do you use at weddings?
It is just one photographer (Alex) on your day unless you require others. Please let us know what you plans are and we can guide you.
Do you use assistants?
Yes we do, when the photographer feels it's appropriate. If we do use assistants you do not incur any additional costs.
What is your photographic style?
We shoot relaxed reportage style photographs in a very none intrusive way. This allows you to enjoy your day as much as possible. Please take a look at our portfolio here..
Where will our photographs be shown for our guests?
You will have your own dedicated web space on the website where all your photographs will be password protected. See the "Couples & Guest Area".
Do you travel?
We travel nationally and internationally. Included in our service is 60 miles from our location. After that it is 45p a mile. If we have to go 100 miles or more accommodation has to be paid for the evening before the wedding. This makes sure the photographer/s are fresh and will avoid any travel problems that might cause them being late. We will travel all around the world as long as travel and expenses are paid..
What do you wear to our wedding?
We wear smart clothes, that goes without saying. But we will wear a certain attire if it is required of us. We go to great lengths to please you, but most couples understand that though we will be smart we have to be comfortable doing our job to get the best out of us..
Do you have insurance?
Absolutely, we are fully covered with Professional Indemnity and Liability insurance. If a venue requires to see our insurance papers, then please contact us..
How long do you stay?
We only cover 1 wedding a day. Our minimum is 5 hrs of photography but most people need 8 hrs. Usually we stay to photograph the speeches and first dance. But we're not clock watchers and if you have something special arranged, such as fireworks, just let us know and we'll do what we can to accommodate. Additional cost of £100 per hour..
How much time should we allocate to photography?
This very much depends on what you would like. We want you to enjoy your day not be pulled away from all the people you love to have pictures taken. So we try and keep any posed pictures to a minimum..
How many photos do you provide?
We don't like to say how many images you will get. Photography is a creative medium. It will depend on the type and style of the wedding, how many photographers you have and how long we shoot for. We like to concentrate on quality not quantity. In your wedding contract you are guaranteed at least 100 high quality images, otherwise you receive compensation. On average you will receive around 300 or more high quality images..
Do we get to see every photo you take?
We believe that both the Bride/s and Groom/s want to look their best on their wedding day. So when a photo might show them otherwise we like to pretend that moment never happened. We therefore delete 'blinks' and what has been politely termed 'missed expressions'. You will see the finished professionally edited images normally around 300..
How do you keep our photos safe?
We do everything we can to makes sure that its almost impossible to loose your photographs. We have invested in the latest technology that is regularly serviced. The memory cards never leave the photographers side and then the images are always double backed-up at the studio. We take our duty to you very seriously and leave nothing to chance..
How long do you keep you photographic files for?
Your files are backed-up on our studio system and the website for at least a year.
